L’Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Foundation

Everyday haircare routine

Regular readers of this blog will know that when it comes to foundation, I prefer a light, glowy finish that doesn’t look or feel heavy on my skin. I think most of us will agree that a caked on appearance is not pretty. Now normally when it gets to the summer, I turn to my trusted tinted moisturisers, BB or CC creams. But as the battle of the shine continues, I wanted something that would keep the t-zone shine free from day to night. And I think I’ve found the perfect foundation for this, and it costs less than £8.

Now let’s start with the packaging. The L’Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Foundation comes in a very handy tube that is easy to use. While it doesn’t look like an expensive foundation, it does perform like one. It’s a long-lasting, matte but not flat on the skin and blends effortlessly onto my skin for a healthy glow and radiance. I’m not sure this foundation would suit those with dry skin. Mine is combination and I normally use a primer which helps to soak up the foundation.

In terms of coverage, the Infallible Matte foundation is more of a medium coverage. It’s not too heavy but it’s heavy enough to cover up my dark circles and the odd blemish without the need for extra concealer. Throughout the day I found that there was no shiny nose or forehead. Which is just amazing in my book. It also didn’t slide off my face during the recent hot weather which is another bonus!

You can pick up the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Foundation for £7.99 in Boots.

Have you tried the before? What’s your favourite foundation for summer?

I’ve been struggling so much with my foundation recently. This hot summer and the makeup literally melts and slides right off my face. I feel like some sort of swamp creature! Anything that won’t slip n’ slide in heat is definitely something I’d want to try.

Never tried this foundation before, usually use maybelline dream matte mousse. Sometimes it seems to dry tho, so might have to give this one ago!
