Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! The day we’ve been waiting for all year has finally arrived! I hope Father Christmas bought you everything you wanted. And that you’re getting to spend the day eating your body weight in Quality Street and drinking Prosecco by the bucket load. Well that might just be my plans. But I do hope you get to enjoy your day today and get to spend time with those you love.

For me, my day won’t begin too early. But once we’re all up it’ll be off to my brother and his Fiancée’s for breakfast, Prosecco and presents. Before then heading to her parent’s house for the main meal, more Prosecco and games. This year’s game of choice is Cards Against Humanity. Which I’ll admit is a brave choice to play with your parents, siblings, future Sister In Law and her family. But we’re all adults so it’ll be fine. Right? Well I hope so!

Boxing Day for me is Christmas round two. I’ll be heading off to my Aunt’s house for our annual Boxing Day dinner and seeing my Dad and his side of the family. Opening more presents, drinking more Prosecco and just generally repeating the previous days events.

For me Christmas and Boxing Day is the chance to spend the days with those you love. Eating lots of good food and drinking lots of good wine and Prosecco. And all I want for Christmas is for those who I care about to be happy, healthy and having lots of fun.
