If you hadn’t realised, this Sunday is Mother’s Day. The day you get to spoil your mum a little more than usual. This year I’ll be taking my mum to one of our favourite places for champagne afternoon tea – the Hilton on Park Lane. Now if you’re not as organised as me (I did book this back in January) I’ve put together my Mother’s Day Gift Guide to share with you all.
Food and drink
In my book you really can’t go wrong with traditional wine, chocolates or champagne. I mean who doesn’t love wine and chocolate or a little champagne? I know my mum would love to be opening these on Sunday!
Personalised Stationery
My mum is a big fan of stationery in general but like me she loves personalised stationery even more. And this quote ‘What’s meant for you won’t pass you by’ is my mum’s favourite saying. So it made perfect sense to get it embossed onto this gorgeous notebook from Chroma Stationery.
Makeup Brushes
I’m pretty sure I get my love of makeup from my mum. Although her makeup collection is a little bit more high-end than mine, she’s still a fan of bargain and these Real Technique makeup brushes are not only affordable but they are also pretty amazing makeup brushes.
Jewellery
Another great gift idea for mums is jewellery. I mean whose mum doesn’t love a little bit of sparkle? And these bracelets from Buckley London are gorgeous. You can choose a stone that matches your mum’s birthday or just one in her favourite colour.
Artwork
My mum is forever coming out with random sayings and quotes she’s heard or read on the internet, so finding this print from Coconut Lane was perfect for her. It’s exactly the type of thing she would love to say. And if you fancy picking one up for yourself, you can get 20% off using the code merrymusing20.
Personalised Candles
Like chocolate, wine and champagne, candles are a great gift idea for mum’s. My mum’s house is filled with candles, yet it’s something she wouldn’t think to buy herself, and getting the candles personalised with a cute message or her name just makes them a little bit more specials. You can get these ones from I Just Love It.
What have you got planned for your mum this weekend?

I have a double whammy, Mothering Sunday one day, my Mother’s birthday the following day. So I have to find something that will perhaps compliment each other. It’s hard to know what to buy these days. But am thinking about something to pamper her, and maybe a follow up meal out.
I do love the little quirky presents you can get these days, but they just aren’t my Mum.
Lovely gift ideas here for the Mums. Love the candle.
