My favourite moments of 2018

Merry Musing my favourite moments of 2018

Now I don’t know about you, but I’m really struggling to get my head around the fact that 2018 is going to be over in a matter of days. I know we’ve had Christmas. And it’s almost New Year’s Eve. But it just doesn’t seem possible that 2018 is almost over. And I don’t know about you, but I’m sad to see it end. 2018 has been a great year for me, which is why I wanted to look back and share with you all some of my favourite moments of 2018.

Now for me, 2018 was a year of adulthood. I started the year in a new job. A job that I don’t think I would be in without my blog. And one that I can’t imagine now not doing. It’s been a challenge though. The role is tougher than my old job, and a step up in responsibility. And it’s been hard finding that work life balance I’ve had before. But I wouldn’t change it for the world. I get to work with amazing people and manage a team that are responsible for shaping the digital experience of our customers. It’s a pretty awesome job!

Yes the job is pretty cool. But it also comes with some pretty sweet perks too. One of which is another favourite moment of mine from this year. And that is the fact that I got to pick up a brand new car in July. Not just any car. But my dream car. An Audi A1. Now this might seem slightly (or massively) materialistic but I never thought I’d get to drive a BRAND NEW car. Let alone my dream car. And the best bit? I get to do it all over again next month as we change cars every six months.

So I guess the biggest and best moment of 2018 was getting to decorate my first home exactly how I wanted it to look like. And if you’ve not seen any of my home posts, then here’s a big spoiler for you – it’s very pink! But having spent a LONG time saving up to get to that stage. It was so exciting getting to see my vision become a reality. Now I’m not completely finished, and there are some things that I’ve yet to do. But in the most part, it’s done. And I love it.

Now I think it’s far to say that 2018 has been a great year for me. 2017 was also a great year for me. Which is why I’m excited to see what 2019 will bring.
