#MakeYourMark

Happy Monday everyone! Now this isn’t a regular Monday. No this is a Bank Holiday Monday! A whole extra day on our weekend  A whole extra day to do the things we would normally do on a Sunday. Well that’s how I’m spending today anyway. And one of the things I love to do on a Sunday is to get myself ready for the week ahead. That normally includes having a little pamper session. And ensuring my nails are looking good for the coming week.

Now those who know me, know I love a gel manicure. But while it isn’t practical for me to get my nails done by a professional every few weeks. I wish it was! I do love creating a gel effect manicure at home. And one of my latest gel effect nail polish discoveries is the new Mark. brand at Avon.

This brand launched at the end of March and their Gel Shine Nail Enamels allow you to let you unleash your creativity and playful side with their kaleidoscope of colours. From soft pastels to bright bolds, this collection has a whopping 35 shades to choose from. And I have four of them!

Surebet – a gorgeous pale coral colour

Barely There – a pretty soft khaki shade

Fabulous – a lovely bright candy pink colour

Purplicious – a striking deep purple shade

Each polish contains Avon’s DureLast Complex which is a polymer blend that forms a flexible but breathable film on the nail to not only lock in colour, but shine too. Leaving your nails with the enviable shine and pigment of a gel but with the ease of using a regular polish. Plus as the polish is formulated with nourishing omega, safflower and avocado oils, this polish is also incredibly gentle on your nails.

What do you think of these colours and the range? What’s your favourite nail polish to use?

Each polish is available from Avon for £7 each.

I had some Avon nail polish in the back of the cupboard which I fished out and used as I couldn’t find my regular one. OMG I couldn’t believe how good it was so I know that these are going to be great as well. Avon sure know what they’re doing with these gel like polishes.

I only really use gel polishes which need a UV light as I find they last longer, I love the coral shade here x

I love these shades, especially the nudes! Your nails are amazing and look so nice photographed, mine are so brittle and stubby lol! I haven’t shopped with Avon in literally YEARS, love that they’ve moved with the times and released on-point products.
