Next Easter Challenge

Happy Sunday everyone and happy Easter! So today’s post is a little different. Seeing as the Bank Holiday weekend is a popular time for DIY, home improvements and a spring clean, the lovely people at Next Home challenged me to take one of their products – the gorgeous carter chair  – and have a go at styling the chair in my home.

Now this chair is exactly my kind of style. I love the mix of Scandi chic and retro design of the chair. Plus it’s grey which is one of my favourite colours for home furniture. And seeing as my bed is grey I decided to add this into my bedroom as the perfect chair for my desk/make up area.

Although it is quite a big chair, it’s also quite light and incredibly comfy to sit at my desk for hours on end writing blog posts and editing pictures. I’ve added in a mauve velvet cushion for comfort and a mauve chenille throw for when I start to get a little cold from sitting down for hours on end. Plus this gorgeous floor lamp provides the right amount of light for when I’m working into the evenings.

I’m really thrilled with how this space is turning out. Seeing as I spend so much time here it’s important to me that my space is comfy and inspiring enough to keep me motivated throughout the day. At £199 the chair is great value for money and looks and feels far more expensive than it’s high street price. As I get closer and closer to moving out and into my own space I can’t stop myself from spending hours and hours online looking through Pinterest for home inspiration and the Next Home summer range is perfect for what I’m looking for.

Next Easter Challenge

I hope you all enjoy your Easter Sunday, you’ll find me in my new chair working on blog posts for next week and eating way through my stash of Easter eggs!

I’ve recently really gotten into interior design because of the Great Interior Design Challenge being on TV. Unfortunately my bf and I live with his parents so cannot be doing any decorating 🙁

That chair is gorgeous!! I’d love something like that in my house as either a one off piece on my living room or like you a desk/vanity chair! It’s such a perfect colour also loving your throw that’s draped on it!
