Richard Ward Anti-Ageing Argan Shampoo and Conditioner

When it comes to anti ageing products, I’m sure you’re all aware of the thousands of skincare products available that promise to hold back the years. But did you know that when it comes to anti-ageing products, you also need to think about haircare? Well I wasn’t aware of it either until The Richard Ward Anti-Ageing Argon Shampoo and Conditioner* arrived through my letter box and I thought I should find out more.

Apparently as you age, your hair becomes finer and thinner making it difficult to manage. The anti-ageing shampoo and conditioner from Richard Ward contains the magic argon oil that works by healing and rejuvenating the hair to boost it’s manageability. The other ingredients, including olea leaf, help to restore lustre, shine and improve the condition of your locks.

I’ve been using this shampoo for a few weeks now and I can definitely say that my hair feels different since using it. I’m not sure if it’s looking younger, but it’s more manageable, it’s shinier and it feels thicker. Plus it’s smelling lovely and fruity. Which are all good things in my book.

Now onto the packaging. The design is sleek and the push top opening on each bottle makes it easy to use, well for the shampoo anyway. The conditioner is very thick which made it tough for me to get a decent amount of product out the bottle without having to really squeeze it. Which isn’t that easy with wet hands in the shower. However, it’s not put me off. I just hope that they look to fix the issue soon.

For a shampoo and conditioner that cost £5.99 each I’m pretty impressed with these. Although I might not be able to tell if my hair is looking younger, the condition has definitely improved, which I’m very pleased with. If you’re interested in trying these, they are available from Waitrose and their website.

Have you tried these before? Would you be tempted by an anti-ageing shampoo and conditioner?

I’ve never really thought about anti-ageing products for hair before, but I do love Argan oil. Sounds like a good price, too 🙂

I like the packaging and I love the price! I’m used to having really thick frizzy hair but where it gets tugged a lot from pulling it back into a clip around my hair line at the side it seems to have thinner since I hate my 30’s nooo! These products sound like a great idea :o)

My hair has definitely got thinner over the years from using far too much heat, so I’m hoping these will restore some youthfulness into my locks x

I didn’t know hair got thinner with aging. Mine’s thin to begin with – oh dear. These sound good though and well priced.
