Happy Friday everyone! It’s time to talk about skincare, and one of my newest discoveries. Now I’ve tried SkinChemists before and loved their Advanced Snail Range. Since it arrived a few weeks ago, this has fast become a firm favourite in my evening skincare routine. Now I used to think that because I had oily skin, I should stay away from facial oils. How wrong was I? Using the right facial oil can be the perfect way to get vitamins and hydrating properties for your skin. And this Rose Quartz Age Defence Youth Facial Oil is perfect for restoring moisture balance in my skin. It’s anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant properties help to repair and protect my skin. While firming and toning at the same time – it’s a win win!
Although this oil is incredibly lightweight, I personally find it’s best to use in the evenings before bed. That way my skin can absorb the oil and take on all of the nourishing properties while I sleep. And then when I wake up in the mornings I find my skin is so soft and smooth. It’s definitely become a firm favourite in my evening skincare routine.
I love the packaging. And the fact that it has a pipette. I just find it’s a lot easier to know how much oil to use each time. Plus the cute little pink bottle makes a great addition to my skincare shelf. And yes, I do have a shelf for skincare. What can I say, I love my skincare products!
