Summer Style with JD Williams

Happy Wednesday everyone! How quickly did the Bank Holiday go? It was a real blink and you’ve missed it kind of a weekend. But maybe that’s just because I was away having an amazing time in the Lille. But now that I’m back I can’t wait for the British summer to officially start and the sun to make it’s long overdue appearance. Especially as I’ve bought so many summer clothes that I can’t wait to wear! But one brand that I wasn’t expecting to be loving this summer is JD Williams. But I have to say I’m really impressed with their current summer collection and this maxi dress and flip flops are two of my favourite pieces.

The dress is from Simply Be and is a lovely soft maxi dress that is just so easy to wear. I love that this dress has a cape around the top half meaning I can cover the tops of my arms and the keyhole at the front just adds the right amount of skin. Plus although it’s a maxi dress, the lining only comes to the knees so you can still see your lower legs in the dress. I just think this dress is going to be one of my most worn summer outfits. It’s so easy to wear, incredibly comfortable and perfect for drinks in a beer garden of a friend’s summer wedding.

I also really love these flip flops. They have a gorgeous beaded detail across the front of the sandals and as the sandals have a strap with a buckle across the ankle, they’re also incredibly comfortable. Plus being a pale brown colour with the coloured accents, these flip flops will go with pretty much every outfit this summer.
