Three drugstore mascaras to try for super fluttery lashes

Three drugstore mascaras to try

As you would have seen from last week’s high-end mascaras to try post, I do love mascara. I love the way it can transform my lashes and add definition to my eyes. It’s a staple in my makeup bag. And despite having big love for some high-end brands. There are also some amazing drugstore brands who are elevating the mascara game. So much so that I’ve done this post for all of you who want to bag yourself a bargain.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Las Multiplying Mascara £7.99

Three drugstore mascaras to try

his has to be my all time favourite drugstore mascara. It’s honestly amazing for the price! The curved wand allows you to capture even the smallest of lashes, while also adding volume for the promised multiplied lash look. The wand also ensures you get close to the lash line to lengthen the lashes and add volume after only one coat. I just find the thick black formula and full fan wand create a wide eye, flutter in seconds, that isn’t too done and lasts well throughout the day without too much flaking.

L’Oréal False Lash Superstar X Fibre £10.99

This is the newest mascara addition to my collection but it’s another fab one. If you’re looking for some seriously fluttery lashes, then this could be the mascara for you. It’s a two step formula, with a volumising black primer on one end to thicken the look of each lash. While step two offers lengthening fibers for extreme length. Overall the formula works to make lashes appear lifted and longer. And who doesn’t want that from their mascara?

Rimmel Volume Colourist £7.99

Another relatively new mascara addition but another fab one. Especially as it’s the first ever from Rimmel that will gradually make bare lashes appear darker. I mean how amazing is that? The semi-permanent lash-tint complex gradually darkens your lashes every time you wear it so that, from 2 weeks onwards of regular usage, your naked lashes look darker from root to tip. And if that isn’t enough, it also adds instant volume making your lashes look fuller, darker and longer.

What’s your favourite drugstore mascara to use?

I just recently tried out L’Oreal’s Voluminous Butterfly Intenza and I have to say I am not very impressed with it at all. The Rimmel one you have featured here looks interesting, perhaps I will try that one x

I use a Rimmel one I think, I’m not really very up on my mascaras and tend to grab a new one each time!

Oh the Rimmel one sounds interesting if it darkens lashes. I like the Miss Manga Punky mascara from Loreal Paris x

I need a new mascara I normally spend £10 in Avon but I might have to look at these as an alternative x
