An introduction to VERSO Skincare

Verso

Now when it comes to skincare, I think it’s fair to say that I’m on the lookout for products that are going to help my skin to look the best it can. I entered my 30’s last year and with the early signs of ageing starting to appear. I’m all for trying different products and formulations to make my skin glow. And most importantly, keep it looking as healthy and young as possible. Which is why I couldn’t turn down an invitation to come and learn more about the skincare cult brand VERSO.

Now if you’ve not heard of VERSO before, they’re a Swedish skincare brand that focus on incredibly powerful anti-ageing products. VERSO is actually Latin for reverse. Most of their products contain Retinol 8 which increases the production of collagen and effectively reverses visible signs of ageing. Sounds amazing right? Well from everything I’ve read and seen so far, I’m a big fan of this brand.

At the event with VERSO I got to try pretty much every product in their range. Including a brand new one! But here are five of my favourites that I’ve been using pretty much constantly over the past few of weeks.

Night Cream £90

Verso Night Cream

So first up is the night cream. And I have to admit, finding a night cream that leaves my skin feeling hydrated, moisturised and nourished until morning can be a challenge. But this VERSO cream not only lived up the hype and expectation. But it exceeded them. The signature Retinol 8 Complex was incredibly soothing and hydrating on my skin meaning I woke up with skin that not only looked radiant, but felt it too.

Super Facial Serum £100

Super Facial Serum

Next up is this lovely thick but nourishing serum that works to repair and regenerate your skin. It has a high does of VERSO’s Retinol 8 Complex which really helps to improve the tone, texture, clarity and luminosity of the skin. Which is what we want right? Well I certainly do! I have to say this just leaves my skin feeling incredibly hydrated and I find myself waking up with clearer and plumper skin in the mornings.

Super Eye Serum £75

Verso Super Eye Serum

So along with the super serum, I’ve also been using the super eye serum. Which by the way is one of the best sellers from the whole range. And it’s easy to see why. Formulated with the exclusive Retinol 8 Complex, this eye serum is ideal for firming, smoothing and plumping out creases in the delicate eye area. Personally for me, my biggest eye concern is dark circles. And even after just a few weeks of using this, I can start to see a difference. Obviously they’ve not disappeared, but I can start to see the colouring evening out. Which is a huge achievement!

Super Facial Oil £150

Verso Super Facial Oil

Now I know what you might be thinking. And yes £150 is a lot of money to spend on skincare. But you do get more than one vial for your buck. In fact you get quite a big bang for your buck. You get four of these vials, plus a sexy spray case to use. But I honestly believe that skincare is one of the best investments you can make in an effort to look the best you can. And this age-reversing dry-oil spray, can definitely help you look like the best version of yourself.

Again, this is formulated with VERSO’s exclusive Retinol 8 Complex which is eight times more effective than non-prescription vitamin A in the same dosage. It’s incredibly lightweight and absorbs almost instantly into the skin and it’s definitely helped with improving the appearance of my fine lines. And just generally making my skin look and feel more hydrated and luminous.

Reviving Eye Mask £45

Verso Reviving Eye Mask

Last but by no means least, is the VERSO reviving eye patches. Now these really are like a mini eye lift in a bottle. On my early ageing skin it left my eye area looking and feeling plumper, smoother and younger. On my mum’s 60+ skin, it knocked decades off her. The eye patches are formulated to reduce the appearance of fine lines and lift the eye area. The effect does wear off but it honestly makes you look like you’ve just had the best sleep of your life!

This was my first introduction to the wonders of VERSO skincare, and I have to say I’m a convert. Not only do I love the results from the products. But I love the packaging too. I know that’s a really sad thing to say but I love that these bottles have the numbers on them. And that the numbers are written backwards. It just adds a fun touch to the brand. And make them look pretty fancy on my skincare shelf.

Have you tried anything from VERSO before? Which product would you want on your skincare shelf?

You know what? I’m kind of tempted to try the eye serum myself! The skin around my eyes is terrible thanks to hayfever!

I think the price isn’t really an issue if it is giving you the desired effect and making you happy and more confident within yourself 🙂

They’re a bit on the pricey side for me but I guess you get what you pay for – I could do with the eye mask for sure!

I’m supposed to be cutting back on my spending, but I think you may have just persuaded me to try some of Verso’s skincare! It sounds right up my street, and I love anything containing Retinol at the mo 🙂
