Vichy Dermablend Foundation and Setting Powder

Vichy Dermablend Foundation and Setting Powder

Vichy is one of those brands that I’ve heard so much about but hadn’t had a chance to try. As a French skincare brand I imagine their products to be incredibly chic and luxurious and to work wonders for the skin. After all Vichy are the skin care experts for healthy, beautiful looking skin.

When it comes to foundation I prefer a lightweight formula that gives amazing coverage rather than a heavier formula that can look cakey on the skin. I’m pleased to say that the Vichy Dermablend Foundation is exactly the type of formula I love. The texture is so smooth and it just glides onto the skin effortlessly. With a high concentration of pigments this foundation provides a better coverage than other foundations but as it blends so effortlessly onto the skin it leaves a natural flawless result. Which is exactly what I look for in a foundation.

So here is the before picture:

And here is the after – ta dah!

Vichy Dermablend Foundation and Setting PowderWhat I love about using the Vichy Dermablend foundation with the setting powder, is that although the foundation on it’s own provides long lasting coverage, with the setting powder it provides even longer coverage!

The setting powder on it’s own is lovely, it leaves a natural matt finish and along with the foundation also provides SPF coverage. Plus as someone with combination skin I can confirm that this combination does help with combating shine. Which is exactly what I want from a foundation and setting powder.

Having tried both the Vichy Dermablend foundation and setting powder and loved them, I’m going to be heading to my nearest Boots this weekend to try the rest of the range. You can see the full range here.

Have you tried any of the Vichy Dermablend products before?

I adore the setting powder, I didn’t like the applicator at first and switched to a brush, now I love the puff sponge x
