As some of you may know, this year I celebrate a rather big birthday. Yes despite my ‘youthful’ looks (I’m kidding) I’m turning the big 30 in December. And to mark this occasion I’ve decided I really should come up with some sort of bucket list to truly celebrate in style. Now some of these things appear pretty achievable, after all you need something easy to tick off the list right? But there are also some that I’ll have to work really hard to achieve. So here is the first half of my bucket list.
- Add to my designer handbag collection
- Run 5k without stopping
- Go to the cinema on my own
- Lose weight
- Learn a foreign language
- Read more, at least a book a month
- Go on an amazing cruise with Bolsover Cruise Club
- Sort my finances out, get a budget and a long term money plan
- Cook more
- Travel as much as I can
- Find the perfect little black dress
- Become an expert packer
- Host a dinner party
- Ride in a hot air balloon
- Learn to be a tidy person
Let me know in the comments what other things you think I should add to the list, or things that you’ve added to milestone birthday bucket lists.

That’s a great list! I’ve got travelling as much as I can on my bucket list too 🙂
Congrats on (soon) hitting the big 30. Major milestone (one I’ve already passed, sadly). It’s a great bucket list, one I think many (including myself) could relate too. Some on your list I can now tick off (my finances are pretty organised), though I confess not that many. Funny thing I’ve always wanted to travel in a hot air balloon too – I thought it was just me, lol! Great post. Tx
im just snooping your whole blog now (the images are fantastic for drawing the eye) and love this list!
You’ve chosen some really accessible but personal things and that’s pretty refreshing. I hope you’ve managed to go to the cinema alone and maybe even take! yourself for a bite afterwards? I love to eat alone and people watch and once you’ve done something alone once you’ll never look back!
