When it comes to jewellery, I’m definitely a more is more kind of a girl! The bigger and bolder the jewellery piece, the more I need it in my life. Unfortunately dainty jewellery just doesn’t look great on me. Give me a man’s watch, chandelier earrings or a stack of bangles over a dainty piece any day. I just love chunky pieces that really make a statement. Like this gorgeous blue ring.
This is my newest jewellery addition and it’s from a new brand to me – Larimar Bliss. They’re an American company that specialises in making handcrafted jewellery from Larimar, which is a gorgeous turquoise gemstone that is found exclusively in the Dominican Republic. The stone is widely considered the Apex of turquoise stones and is also believed to have holistic healing attributes.
I have to say this ring was beautiful on the website, but it looks even more beautiful in real life! The silver band is split into three to house the rectangle shaped stone. It just sits well on the finger and is really comfortable to wear. Some bigger pieces can feel a little too big on the finger, but this looks and feels great. The ring is $139 which I think is great value for money considering the size of the ring. Plus the quality of the silver and the gemstone is incredible. And there is free worldwide delivery with the brand so no nasty custom charges! I have to say since it arrived last week, I’ve been wearing it non stop and have had so many compliments about the ring. I just find that this ring goes with pretty much everything.
