Now regular readers will know of my love for Charlotte Tilbury. And if you read last year’s blog post on what I spent in Black Friday, then you’ll know that I went a bit crazy with the credit card. This year was different. One of the big things I got in the Black Friday sales this year was the Charlotte Tilbury Black Friday Mystery Box. There were two mystery boxes on offer this year, and I opted for the £250 one which contained nine full size items. Now the retail price of this box was £250. The Black Friday discount meant I got the box for £125. I know a lot of you, like me, love Charlotte Tilbury so I wanted to reveal exactly what was inside the Charlotte Tilbury Black Friday Mystery Box.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream £49
Now first up is the reason why I picked the box in the first place. Two products were revealed for each box. And the Magic Cream was in this one. I’ve heard so much about this iconic cream, but have yet to try it. It’ the 30ml size, which isn’t huge, but is definitely big enough to get a feel of the cream.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Luxury Palette of Pops £42
As I mentioned, two products were revealed for each box. And this was the second one. I love the whole pillow talk range, and the colours in this palette are beautiful! I’ve used many of Charlotte’s eyeshadow palettes before so I know how great the quality and colour pay off will be with this one. Plus as someone who has hazel eyes, I’ve heard these pinks and reds will really help to make my eyes pop!
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Cheek to Chic Swish and Glow blusher in Pillow Talk £30
Sticking with the Pillow Talk theme, net up we have this beauty. I’ve not actually tried any of these two toned blushers before but I’m really excited to give this a go. I mean look at those shades! I’m expecting a full on glowy finish when using this.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Diamonds Glossy Star kit in Lucky Diamonds £25
Now I actually have one of these in the shade Pillow Talk and it’s one of my most used lip products. This one is actually a really wearable colour. It has a sheer finish enriched with sunflower seed oil and hops to help moisturise and condition your lips. And the glitter pigments in the lipstick give you a gorgeous multi-dimensional sparkly finish.
Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Fallen from the lipstick tree in Stoned Rose £25
This is part of her famous K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick line. Stone Rose is a dark pink, almost light brown shade. But still incredibly wearable. It has a creamy sheen finish with light diffusing pigments to create the impression of a fuller pout.
Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat lip liner in Iconic Nude £17
Now I’ll admit that lip liner is the one thing that I really should probably use more often. And this is the perfect nude shade to go with any nude toned lipstick.
Charlotte Tilbury Tinted Love lip and cheek tint in Blushed Rose £25
Now this is another new product to me. But I love the idea of a product with multiple uses. This is a dual lip and cheek tint in Blushed Rose. Which is a great versatile colour that is subtle enough to be both a lipstick and a blusher.
Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes £23
Next up is one of my favourite mascaras. And that is the Full Fat Lashes. I love how this mascara perfectly separates each lash. Adds volume and drama. Without flaking throughout the day.
Charlotte Tilbury Rock ‘n’ Kohl iconic liquid eye pencil in Bedroom Black 19
I actually ran out of this eyeliner last month. So it couldn’t have been better timing for this to be in the Charlotte Tilbury Black Friday Mystery Box. It’s without a doubt, hands down, my favourite eyeliner to use. It has a matte finish with a waterproof and long lasting formula. That is so smooth to apply.
So there you have it. That it what was in this year’s Charlotte Tilbury Black Friday Mystery Box. And do you know what? I’d absolutely buy another one. I love the mix of products. I love that they’re all versatile shades. Personally, I would have liked to have seen more skincare. But for £125 I think it’s incredible value for nine full sized products.
