Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Range

Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Range

So I turned 30 at the end of last year. I know you’re probably really shocked because I never mentioned it….. And ever since then I’ve taken more of an interested in my skin, my skincare routine and what exactly I’ve been putting on my face. And what I’ve come to understand is that water is a key ingredient to healthy looking skin. Dehydrated skin can appear duller with your wrinkles and pores more prominent. And who wants that? But one of the biggest issues for my skin is that I’m constantly moving between hot and cold temperatures. Especially at this time of year when we have sunshine one day and rain the next. Or even on the same day. Which is why I was really excited to try the new Clarins Hydra-Essentiel range.

The whole range has been designed after Clarins studied the impact temperature changes have on the skin’s natural hydration levels. And what they found out is that there is a powerful hydration activator in succulent leaves. Which is included in the whole Hydra-Essentiel range helping to restore the skin’s capacity to retain water. And remain intensely hydrated in all circumstances as the skin’s hyaluronic acid production is boosted. Which is what you want!

There are five products in the range and I have two of them:

BI-PHASE SERUM £44

I’m a huge fan of Clarins Bi-Phase Serums and this one is no exception. All you need is one to two pumps in your hand, then press your hands to your face letting it sink in. Although it has a slight oily texture it sinks in within seconds. Making it perfect to layer up with your silky cream. I guess you can call the serum, a cardigan if you will. It’s all about those layers for great looking skin! And a serum is probably one of the most underrated product for dehydrated skin.

SILKY CREAM £36

I love using this cream, not only is this incredibly lightweight but it’s also super hydrating on the skin. Also I noticed that after applying this my makeup applied easier. It lasted longer and faded less. Plus once it was time to remove my makeup, my skin didn’t look as dull or tired as it usually does!

Having tried both of these, my skin feels hydrated, looks fresher, more radiant and smoother. They’re like skincare miracles in a bottle! If you suffer with dehydration or you put your skin through lots of temperature changes, then definitely give these a try.

The whole range is available from the Clarins website.

What do you think of this range? What are your favourite skincare products to use?

I always find clarins price but the product itself is so amazing that the cost is worth it in the end.

I just turned 30 and I can totally relate to skincare becoming more of a priority. I’ve never used Clarins, but I love their packaging and I’m always on the hunt for great beauty products, so I’ll have to give them a try.

I’m so guilty of not sticking to my skincare routine and I really should. I’ve not tried these products before but the colour of the packaging alone has won me over – it’s gorgeous! The cream especially sounds dreamy! xx
