Merry Christmas everyone! The big day has finally arrived. And I do hope Father Christmas bought you everything you wanted. And that you’re spending the day eating your body weight in Quality Street and drinking ALL the Prosecco. Well, that might just be my plans. but I do hope you get to enjoy your day and are spending it with those you love.
As usual, my day won’t begin too early. But once we’re all up it’ll be off to my brother and his Fiancée’s for breakfast, Prosecco and presents. Before then heading to my aunt’s for the main meal, more Prosecco and games. Boxing Day for me is Christmas round two. It’s a chance to see my dad and spend some time with him and his partner. And this year that will be done at the local curry house. Which I honestly think is the greatest idea we’ve ever have!
For me Christmas Day and Boxing Day is the chance to spend the days with those you love. Eating lots of good food and drinking lots of good Prosecco. My family and I aren’t particularly religious. But all I really want for Christmas is for those who I care about to be happy, healthy and having lots of fun.
