Now I don’t know about you, but I’m not the biggest fan of Valentine’s Day. Personally, I prefer to make a big fuss over Pancake Day. But in the spirit of love (and because I was never going to be inundated with flowers), I thought I’d treat the person I love the most. Me. To a little something just because I wanted to. This is the limited edition Mulberry | V&A collection in celebration of their exhibition ‘Bags: Inside Out’. An exhibition that I was meant to attend in January but of course was cancelled. This capsule collection of leather goods and a bag scarf was inspired by a 20th-century floral fabric held in the museum’s archive. The end result is this gorgeous signature print which comes in rosewater or black.
As you can see I went for the rosewater option in this coin purse. Now I will admit, I was a little late to the party on this. The collection featured Alexa’s in this print, which sold out pretty much as soon as they launched. But if you’re looking to buy something from this limited edition collection, then do what I did and buy it from the V&A website. I have to admit I’ve never had a coin purse before. But since it’s arrived, I’ve used it non stop. It’s so much easier to take with me, rather than my YSL card holder. Not only can I fit so many cards in there (I was limited to 4 with the YSL card holder). But I can also add my car key and change if I want to as well.
