Spring home details

Happy Monday everyone! Now I feel like I can officially say Spring it here. The days are going to start getting lighter in the evenings. And the weather has certainly gone up a degree or two. Which means I’m in full on spring cleaning mode. And if that isn’t enough. While I’m having a spring clean, I’m also filling my place up with new spring home details. Because that’s how it works right? Out with the old and in with the new!

Now when it comes to interiors, I think I might be just as obsessed with them as I am with makeup. I can’t help it. I’m a sucker for beautiful furniture and cute home accessories. And just like my clothes and makeup my style can change quite frequently. Which is why I tend to change things up most seasons. And now that we’re heading into spring it’s time to freshen things up with some colour! I normally tend to go for whites, greys or quite muted colours. But the sunshine and springtime has got me embracing colour in my life.

So first up is this beautiful colour storage box from TK Maxx. I actually picked up two of these. And there seems to be something quite Kate Spade about them. Which is probably why I love them as much as I do. They sit on a storage unit I have in my room. One is for jewellery and the other is for my camera equipment.

Next up are some products that you may have seen over on my YouTube channel already. These cute little succulents are from Primark and cost just £2 each. Not only do they make great blog probs. But they also look so cute on their own. Although Primark can be a little hit and miss at times. They always seem to have amazing homewares bits. You just need to get hold of them. As all the good stuff sells out so quickly!

Now I said I wanted to add some colour and these cute little pom poms are certainly colourful! I love them! The pom poms are on a string which are currently above my bed. And I love the pop of colour they bring to my room. I’d seen some like these before that were lights. But I think I actually prefer these. They just make me want to get more and decorate more of the house with them!

And finally, I wouldn’t be a proper blogger if I didn’t include at least one pineapple accessory right? Well I’ve done better than that with these three. And I love them! Now they’re not strictly that colourful. But as soon as I saw them I couldn’t resist them. You can use these for storage but I think I’ll keep them for decoration. They’re too pretty to keep things in!

So where to I tend to buy my home details from? Well normally the same sort of places. I love shopping in John Lewis, TK Maxx, Primark and online. But one of my newest home website discoveries is LionsHome. They’re an online platform for those who love a beautiful home as much as they do. And with more than a million monthly users in 10 countries, LionsHome is now one of the leasing European Home & living online portals. So if you haven’t checked them out already. You need to!

They have the most amazing selection of furniture, home accessories and decorations from some of the biggest retailers around. And because it’s all in one place, it’s so easy to use and shop around to find exactly what you want. For me, I don’t necessarily need anything at the moment. I mean I need a house first! But it doesn’t stop me spending hours browsing around to see what kind of beautiful pieces I could style in my own place.

What do you think of my spring home edit? Have you ever shopped on LionsHome before?

I love the cute succulents pots! I have one myself that needs a new pot, as it’s been growing quite a lot lately (and for some reason, “gave birth” to a cactus next to it, in the same pot :D).

I always forget to look at Primark for house things! I usually hit the bags, shoes and jewellery and make a dash for the tills. I think I need a visit soon to check out those succulents!
I love the pom poms too, but I think my husband would object!

Golden pots definitely win in my opinion. It could give the room such a sassy look 😉 Little pineapple could be a cute sugar-bowl. I guess it’s time for a primark home haul…

    Love it, Ann // http://thehomeexpert.uk/
