Travel beauty heroes

If you’ve been reading my blog over the past few days then you might have picked up on the travel themed posts and the fact that I’m off on holiday soon and might be pretty excited about it. Well today’s post is no different. As I’m starting to plan in my head what I might be taking on holiday, I thought I’d share with you all my travel beauty heroes.

I’m going away for four days and have decided that I don’t need hold luggage, I can fit it all into my hand luggage. Which means I am taking a lot of miniature products to ensure I can fit it all in. So what am I taking? Let me show you some of my hero products to take when travelling.

First up is the Bumble and Bumble thickening shampoo and conditioner. I love the Bumble and Bumble range and these miniatures are perfect for travelling. I prefer the thickening shampoo and conditioner because that’s what my hair needs. Especially in the heat. I find this shampoo and conditioner build body in my hair and lock in the moisture so that my hair doesn’t dry out in the sun.

Next up is the much loved Benefit Roller lash. This is one of my favourite mascaras and I love that it comes in miniature as well. It just makes it ideal for when you’re travelling with limited space in your makeup bag. Although it is small, it still delivers the amazing impact of the full sized Roller Lash mascara.

Next up is the Champneys Distant Shores Shower Mousse. This smells amazing. It’s such a sweet, exotic scent that smells exactly like holidays should smell of. And best of all, it’s a tiny little shower mousse. I love it because firstly, it’s miniature, and who doesn’t love miniature products? But also because it leaves my skin feel soft and moisturised.

Next is the Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel. I love multi use products for when I’m travelling and this one is great. Not only will it remove my makeup but it also leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. Which is just what I want.

Finally it’s the L’Oreal Paris Mythic Oil. I find travelling the perfect excuse to use up as many minis as I can and this one is no exception. I’ve just the full sized version of this hair mask before and loved it. This is ideal for those whose hair needs a little TLC when visiting hot climates. I apply this deep conditioning treatment onto my hair just leave my hair to dry naturally. It leaves my hair looking and feeling shiny, soft and very manageable in the heat.

So these have been my travel beauty heroes, what are yours?

This is a brilliant post for me as I am heading off to Spain for 4 days with hand luggage only and need to look at miniatures, so thanks for a heads up.

There are so few choices for miniature mascara’s, I may just have to look out for the Benefit Roller Lash.

A good choice of perfect products for traveling. I often decant my big products into travel bottles so I can take my faves with me.

I love little travel-sized things, I need to find some myself! I have some Lancôme minis of the mascara I use – companies who make baby sized mascaras know the score :p x

There was a long time that the thickening range was my travel shampoo of choice but I have reignited my love of the surf range since I’ve been on my hols so will be stocking up for my next holiday.
