What’s in my holiday makeup bag

What's in my holiday makeup bag

As you’ll be reading this, I’ll be soaking up the sun on my holiday. Well that’s the plan anyways. Having brought a few new pieces of makeup for this trip I wanted to show you all what’s in my holiday makeup bag. So let’s begin:

Body Shop Instablur

One of my favourite primers to use. This gel like consistency ensures a smooth base that gives my skin a gorgeous glow, helps my makeup stay in place and keep shine at bay.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer

This is probably my most used concealer and the one I love to travel with. The creamy formula helps to hide any dark circles or blemishes and just generally makes me look more awake.

Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint

By far one of my favourite skin products to use on holiday. It’s a cross between a CC cream and a tinted moisturiser. And just leaves the skin looking healthy, glowing and sun kissed. I love it.

Soap and Glory Wonderbroze

This is a new addition to my holiday makeup bag but it’s definitely a keeper. This gorgeous shimmer brick is lovely for adding a touch of shimmer to the cheeks for a glowing, sun kissed look.

Collection Work The Colour Eyebrow Kit

I’ve mentioned this so many times before but I love this eyebrow kit. For a cheaper end kit it has everything you need. Three powders, plus a mini brush and clear eyebrow gel to set it all in place. It has everything you need to keep your brows in check on holiday.

Maybelline The Nudes Palette

This is another new addition to the holiday makeup bag but I love it. With 12 wearable shades and a good mix of shimmers and mattes, this is my new favourite nude palette for creating subtle looks or dramatic smokey eye creations.

Benefit They’re Real Push Up Liner

This is one of favourite eyeliners and I love that this is a mini version of the much loved product. The gel liner glides effortlessly onto the lids and stays in place all day. Perfect for exotic holiday climates.

Benefit Roller Lash

Again, this is one of my favourite mascaras. The curved wand curls the lashes without the need for a curler and adds enough volume and length to really make the lashes pop.

Revlon ColourBurst in ‘Vivacious’

If you can’t wear a hot pink lip on holiday then when can you? I’m not normally one for bold lips but this colour just screams holiday and summer for me.

L’Oreal Infallible Mega Gloss in ‘Protest Queen’

My new favourite lip gloss is a must have for my holiday. The pale nude cream lip gloss is a my lips but better shade and is a perfect natural lip to wear with a dramatic eye look.

Makeup Revolution Fixing Spray

Holidays can be hot. That’s normally the point, which is why this fixing spray is a must have in my makeup bag. Although I don’t wear a lot of makeup in the day, it’s good to know that whatever is on my face will stay in place despite the heat.

So that’s what’s in my holiday makeup bag. What are your favourite holiday beauty products?

Great items, I love to do a smoky eye on holiday.
I have a roller lash sample, think i will take that away with me to save some space.

I have heard so much good about Rimmel wake me up concealer but also heard that it is a little shimmery, what do you think?
I have no access to test it out, can only order it via the internet.

I don’t find it shimmery at all. I think it’s a lovely creamy formula that covers my dark circles and blemishes very well x
