What's in my travel make-up bag

As mentioned in yesterday’s post, I am away this weekend. Having already shown you the contents of my travel make-up bag, I thought I’d share with you what’s in my travel wash bag.

This wash bag is a patent one from Ted Baker, it’s a few years old now so I’m not sure if you can still purchase them but they bring out new variations each season. I would definitely recommend these. As mentioned, I’ve had these for a few years now and use them all the time and they’ve not suffered any damage as yet. Also, given the material, they are also really easy to clean when I get make-up on the inside or outside of the bag.

Moisturiser

My current favourite moisturiser is the Light Intense Moisturising Cream from Liz Earle. This is such a rich moisturiser that really makes my skin look and feel nourished. I can’t get enough of it at the moment and really love the fact that it comes in a pump, it’s so much easier to use, however, I’m sure product will be wasted at the end when I can’t get any more out of the pump.

Serum

This the Hydraluron serum from Indeed Labs. I love this serum for giving my skin some added moisture and generally making my skin look and feel better than usual.

Cleanser and toner

I never go away without packing my trusty Liz Earle Hot Cloth cleanser and Skin Tonic which is why I love these mini versions that I got as part of a set at Christmas. It also includes the Soothing Eye Lotion which I love.

Make-up remover

When I go away I like to take with me little samples. Not only does it save valuable packing space, but it also means that I get a chance to try out some of the hundreds of samples I seem to acquire. This weekend I’m trying out the YSL make-up remover.

Next lets’ move onto haircare:

Shampoo and conditioner

For the weekend, I’m taking with me a mini version of the Percy and Reed shampoo and conditioner that I received as part of a goody bag last month.

Hair protection spray

This is a mini version of the amazing Tresemme heat protection spray that I really love. I’ve had this spray for ages and used this for a number of other weekends away and holidays and it’s still not run out.

Dry Shampoo

I never leave the house without my mini bottle of batise dry shampoo, the holy grail of dry shampoo in my opinion and such good value. I just wish I could find a mini bottle of the brunette dry shampoo as I’m not a fan of the grey tinge that stays at the roots.

Hairspray

Although I’m by the sea and the wind will probably remove any trace of hairspray that is in my hair, I’m still taking some with me, just in case. This is a small version of one of my favourite hairsprays, the Toni & Guy Glamour hairspray.

So what do you pack in your wash bag for weekend’s away?
