Why I love Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner

Why I love Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner When the Benefit They’re Real Push Up Liner launched last year I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it to try it out. The launch created a huge buzz in the blogging world and it seemed that nearly everyone loved it. Myself included. But  when I featured this in my forever repurchased post, some people commented to say they really didn’t like it. Which made me want to do this post and share with you all why I love Benefit They’re Real Push Up Liner.

At the same time that this launched I also tried the Maybelline Lasting Drama Eyeliner Pen which I loved. Both products are extremely similar, however when it comes to performance, the Benefit gel liner gets my vote.

Not only is this liner long lasting, but I also find it incredibly easy to apply and can achieve so many looks using this. Whether I want a dramatic winged eyeliner look or a more subtle one like the one in the pictures, the angled applicator hugs the top of my lash line perfectly so I can create a thin or thick line.

Compared to the Maybelline one, I find the Benefit liner to be longer lasting on the lids and the super black formula means you don’t need a lot of product for a dramatic look. I have oily lids and even without using an eye primer, this liner will last on my lids all day without a need for a touch up.

The only slight downside is that before use I sometimes have to use a tissue or some cotton wool to remove excess product before applying onto my lids. But that’s not going to put me off. Plus it helps to use a waterproof eye makeup remover as sometimes this doesn’t want to budge.

The Benefit They’re Real Push Up Liner is available from Boots for £18.50.

Have you tried this liner before? What’s your favourite eyeliner brand to use?

I’ve not tried this but must admit that I have mainly seen negative reviews on it, so have never tried it. It’s good to finally read something positive!

My current eyeliner right now is from Astor Cosmetics although I’ve been wanting to try this one out after hearing some good things about it. In terms of removing it, is it easy to do?

It is slightly more stubborn than other gel eyeliners I’ve tried but I remove it every night with a micellar water without any problems x

My eyeliner aaalways rubs off so this sounds like something I need to investigate! I really like MAC’s liquid liner, its waterproof and never ever comes off before you want it to. The only downside to it is that if you mess it up when you’re applying it, it can be difficult to fix!

It is incredibly long lasting but like the MAC one can be tricky to correct any mistakes x

I’ve always been so tempted to try this. I normally use gel liners in a pot but think I need to give this a try!

I find this a lot easier to use than gel liners in a pot with a brush, plus it’s a lot less messy x
