Now regular readers of this blog will know that I like to treat myself to a new bag. Especially during my birthday and Christmas season as a sort of well done to myself for getting through the year. And this year was no exception. I seemed to have acquired some Selfridges vouchers throughout the year, so naturally asked for more from my parents for my birthday and Christmas to go towards my new bag. The only issue was I had no idea what I wanted. I initially thought about getting the Chloe Woody bag, but I’m worried that by this summer it’ll be out of style. I thought about a Mulberry Alexa. But I’m not sure on the size I want. But then I saw this beautiful Mulberry Medium Top Handle Lily and knew it had to be mine.

I’ve actually had this style before and sold it last year as I never reached for it. I had it in a taupe colour that I originally got back in 2016. I initially used to quite a bit. But then newer bags came into my collection and I found myself never reaching for it. I think it was to do with the colour more than anything and at one point I did toy with the idea of dying it black as I thought I’d use it more. But in the end I sold it to fund more bags.

This Medium Lily though is in the slightly newer style with the top handle, which for me, feels much more wearable. Although the design and colour is a little out there for some. This is the Cloud Tweed and Silky Calf version. I absolutely love it! I love how different it is and how it really elevates an outfit. Or at least I think it does.

One of the major reasons I love the Medium Lily is the amount of space you get in the bag. You can really fit a lot in. I can fit in my long purse, my phone, an umbrella, masks, makeup, the lot really. One of the things I do need to get though is a liner for it. It has suede interior in the cloud colour that I really don’t want to mark. Plus the liner will help with keep the shape when the bag isn’t in use.

What do you think of the Mulberry Medium Top Handle Lily? Are you a fan of the bag?
