Now if you didn’t know already. I spent the August Bank Holiday week away in the beautiful island of Rhodes enjoying a week of sun, sea, sand and some serious relaxation. It was my first holiday in a while where I made the effort to get dressed up for dinner. Now usually, I’m away at my parent’s place in Portugal which is a much more chilled out affair. But heading away with a friend meant a chance to get dressed up for the evening meal and entertainment.
Now, it probably won’t also come as too much of a shock to you. But nearly all my outfits on holiday included a form of leopard print. I mean, how could they not? Those that know me, know how deep my love for the leopard is. So, let me share with you all what I wore on holiday.
Outfit 1: Blue Marks and Spencer’s dress

Now, this is a bit of a fail-safe for me. I picked up this blue light denim dress in the Marks and Spencer’s sale earlier this year and I’ve already had so much use out of it. I love that it’s lightweight, knee-length and synched at the waist to give my shape a bit more definition. Otherwise, I do run the risk of looking like a sack in this dress.
Outfit 2: Hush skirt and top

Now as well as loving a bit of leopard print, I do also love the shop Hush. I not so secretly aim to be a Hush girl. And I’m pleased to report that I’m well on my way with almost half my wardrobe now coming from the brand. Including this holiday staple. The leopard print top is a sale buy – I already have the same print in a shirt. But the skirt was a new addition. And I’ve had so much wear out of already.
Outfit 3: Black hush dress and leopard print headscarf

Now, this was black and white night, and what a surprise, it’s another Hush and leopard print combination. The black dress was another sale purchase I believe. But from earlier in the year. And for me, this is one of those timeless pieces. I love the fact that it has a longer hem and a shorter underskirt. Plus, it has hooks in the straps to keep your bra straps in place! The leopard print headband was a last-minute purchase from Oliver Bonas at the airport and I love it!
Outfit 4: Black Hush culottes and leopard print top

Another outfit, and another black and leopard print combination. The culottes are a new purchase from Hush and I can already see myself buying these in every colour they do. They wear really well, they have an elasticated waistband, and they finish at the right length for my 5’6 frame.
Outfit 5: Black Hush skirt and Next jewelled tank top

This is the second time the skirt made an appearance on holiday, and this time I paired it with a trusty jewelled tank top from Next. The top is probably about three years old, but one that always seems to make an appearance on holiday.
Outfit 6: Next leopard print skirt and black H&M top

And for the final night, I couldn’t rock a little bit more leopard print. This time I went for this red number from Next, along with a black top with lace detailing from H&M. Both are a season or two old, but still firm favourites.
What do you think of holiday outfits? Are you a fan of dressing up on holiday, or do you prefer to go for a chilled out vibe?

All of your outfits look absolutely amazing on you! I will definitely be checking out Hush, those pieces are lovely.
What some gorgeous items! I have to admit I think my favourite is the Hush skirt and top I thought at first it was a dress!
We love Hush too and often get catalogues through the post. They have super soft jerseys and love knits x Like the skirt! Great outfits x
All of those outfits look great on you and were nice choices for holiday travel. I personally prefer casual over dresses, if traveling somewhere warm I like shorts unless a nicer meal is involved.
I do like dressing up for going out for dinner, especially if I spent all day pretty much in swimming clothes or sunbathing. When I went away in March we made such an effort each evening and it was so nice x
I love your style! As a fellow animal print fan I could wear all these outfits all day long!
I’m loving all of the leopard prints! That second outfit is goals! Oh, but that M&S dress is also absolutely gorgeous. x
You’ve got such beautiful outfits, I love how versatile the hush skirt is
Aw you look lovely for sure. I like the choice, as not too tight fitting and restrictive xx
